Marcia Thompson, MEd, MSE, LPC, is Founder and Director of Christian Counseling Ministries, Inc.  For over 27 years she has counseled individuals, families and children dealing with anxiey, depression, grief and relationship issues.  Along with one of our male counselors she does co-counseling, a successful approach to couples with relationship issues.  Marcia also does Prayer Therapy and is  trained in both Phase I and II of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  Marcia has received training in Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) from Dr. Joanne May of the Family Attachment Center in Deephaven, MN.  She has been doing this innovative attachment therapy with children at risk in Wisconsin and neighboring states. The central purpose of this therapy is to promote the bonding of children with their caregivers using respectful, caring, non-intrusive techniques.  She also provides therapy for adults with attachment issues.  Marcia received the Star Award for her work in Attachment Disorder Therapy at the National ATTACH conference in October, 2001.  Marcia has been a speaker and a retreat leader for over 25 years.  She is available for adult and teenage groups.  "Growing in Holiness" is one of her most popular topics.This topic is based on a sanctification model entitled - "Circles of Life", A Journey Through Love and Fear.  This model helps us indentify universal thinking patterns which greatly affect our relationships with God, others and self.  Call Christian Counseling Ministries for more information.  
JoAnn Nitka, MSW, LCSW, has been counseling for 13 years, 10 of these years have been with Christian Counseling Ministries.  JoAnn's degree is in Social Work with an emphasis on marriage & family therapy.  JoAnn counsels individuals, couples, children, teens. families and does couple co-counseling with one of our male counselors.  Co-counseling is a successful approach for couples with relationship issues.  JoAnn counsels people experiencing anxiety, depression, issues with grief & loss, as well as abuse, and dissociation.  JoAnn is trained in Advanced Theophostic, and  Phase I of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  JoAnn is part of the Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) therapy team.  She works with the female children in age appropriate interactive psychotherapy to help develop trust in order to faciliate the necessary follow up counseling.  She also does attachment therapy with adults.
Early Fuller, MAC, CADC III, has been a counselor for twentyone years, and has been with Christian Counseling Ministries for 12 of these years. Early provides therapy for adults, teens, children and does couple co-counseling with one of our female counselors.  Co-counseling is a successful approach to couples with relationship issues.  Early is also a family intervention specialist, and deals with drug & alcohol addiction issues.  Early has been called to testify as an expert witness in sexual harassment cases.  He is part of the Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) therapy team, he works with the male children in age appropriate interactive psychotherapy to help develop trust in order to facilitate the necessary follow up counseling.  
Monica Jacobson, PhD has been counseling for over 17 years.  She has been with Christian Counsleing Ministries for 5 of these years.  Dr. Monica is a consultant and a counselor she is trained in comprehensive testing and evaluation of emotional, learning, and Attachment Disorders. She is also trained in TheoPhostic work.   Dr Monica specializes in groups and seminars for resolving life challenges through spiritual and Christian growth. She is also available for Christian Coaching, a more detailed approach of mentoring.  Monica approaches healing by intergrating physical & mental health in her counseling.
Jim Hilt
James Hilt, MS, (UW-Oshkosh) has been an individual, marriage and family counselor for thirty years.  He counsels for a wide variety of emotional and relationship issues including anxiety, depression, fears, guilt, self-esteem, unresolved childhood issues, teen issues, incest, rape, sexual molestation, adult children of alcoholics, post traumatic stress syndrom, and vocational issues.  Jim works with addictions related to alcohol, drugs, gambling, and poronography.  Jim attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL where he studied Biblical counseling, apologetics, the New Testament and systematic theology.  He was the Director of Counseling for thirteen years for the national radio program Chapel of the Air with David Mains.  He has authored a book on relationships, with Moody Press and has had thirty articles appear in magazines including "Campus Life", "Christianity Today",  "Decision", "Moody Magazine" and "Psychology for Living".  Jim is currently on a team of writers for "Men of Integrity", a daily devotional published by the Promise Keepers.
